Raffle Overview

Once a year, the Owatonna Marching Band Board will offer a calendar raffle ticket fundraiser which will allow students to sell tickets to help offset the cost of their marching band fees.

Each student will start out with 20 tickets (2 books). After the first 2 books are sold, the student can sell additional books for OMBB credit. OMBB will retain 50% of raffle sales for books 3&4. Students will receive 100% credit for books sold above 5. All books will be paid in advance prior to the student receiving them.

Each ticket is $10. The student will make sure the purchaser fills out the raffle stub and retains the corresponding prize ticket. The student will make sure all money and ticket stubs are returned to the OMBB board by April 30th.

Books are not required to be sold in full. Any unsold tickets need to be returned to the board by the drop off deadline. Unsold tickets will not be reimbursed.

Ticket credits will be applied to OMBB payment due before being applied to payments for a trip year. No student will be entitled to payment for funds raised in excess of money due. If a student raises money in excess of the amount they owe, OMBB retains the excess funds. 

Chaperones accompanying during a trip year shall be allowed to sell tickets to offset their cost. Chaperones are not required to participate in the student required fundraising. OMBB will retain 50% of sales for the first 2 books sold. If a chaperone raises funds in excess of their fees, the funds will be applied to their student before returning to OMBB.

Winners must be 18 or older to claim prizes. 

A single ticket has the potential to win multiple times. Winning ticket stubs will be returned to the drawing pool for future drawings.

The drawing will occur for the entire month at the May OMBB board meeting. Winners will be posted on the OMBB website and contacted by phone. Winners do not need to be present to win.

Prizes will be paid by check and mailed to the address on the ticket stub. 

All prizes must be claimed within 60 days of winning. Prizes not claimed will be considered a donation to OMBB

Ticket Return

Tickets must be returned during one of the following times.
