The 100 member Owatonna High School Marching Band is a co-curricular offering in the summer, and is comprised of junior high and high school band members. The band's season is intense, lasting just over a few weeks in early summer.  Typically over that time, they march in anywhere from 6-10 parades.  The band has performed at Disneyland, the National Independence Day Parade, and 4th of July Celebrations in Bristol, Rhode Island, as well as Boston, Massachusetts.  In the summer of 2017, the band toured Southern California, and marched in the televised "Long Beach 4th of July Parade" for over 2.5 million fans and TV viewers, as well as the 4th of July parade in Pacific Palisades, California.

Their most recent invitation was to perform in 2022 for the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World, with a performance at Magic Kingdom in front of thousands of spectators.

The Owatonna Marching Band has earned numerous championships in their respective class every summer as they compete in Minnesota.  The band's commitment to musicianship and showmanship have made them a crowd favorite at parades all over the country!
